It’s Monday, and you’re most likely feeling a tad depressed and stressed jumping headfirst into the daily grind. Well, the good news is, scientists have discovered one of the greatest contributing factors to happiness, and it’s not that hard to get a little closer to contentment. Turns out, the act of expressing gratitude almost increases happiness levels – and could put a kick in someone else’s step as well.
To demonstrate this, scientists had a few individuals write an essay about a person they were most grateful to, and got them to give them a call and read their essays out loud. This resulted in tear jerking moments, smiles, giggles, and bouts of laughter. That said, sometimes in out pursuit of happiness, we sometimes forget that even simple things can make make a difference. Check out this video, and pass the ball on!
